I just checked on mine. it is Tygrius (suprise suprise).
I played the batman demo. It seemed good. Cant say im to into modern warfare though. I have COD4, and have played COD:WAW and COD:MW2 with my roommate, but I am just not good with the controls for that kind of game. Now, you throw them on a computer and I can handle a FPS.

This is kind of new territory for me, too. I got the PS3 as a gift after my mma fight. I got modern warfare and ufc2009 with it. Then I went out and bought my first blu ray movie; The Matrix, of course. Then got my hands on Batman:AA. So far I am working on batman, but will venture into modern warfare after i finish batman.
I never owned a ps2 and went from super nintendo to MxO. But I think if I can understand mxo I can understand any game. UFC is the challenge because each fighter gets to increase their attribute levels like speed and power and all that crap. It was a little overwhelming when I first looked at it, but I think i'll get it.
So what kind of stuff can we do on the psn?

as for stuff on the psn, the thing I love about it is multiplayer gaming is free (compared to the money hungry xbox). PS3 is more of a multimedia player. It does the games (som pretty awsome ones at that) but also is set up for photos, music, and movies.
I dont blame ya getting Matrix. I have the 10th aniversary edition, as well as the ultimate matrix set (yah i got 2 blu-ray copies of the first movie). The first blu-ray i purchased was X-men Origins: Wolverine.
As far as the blu-rays go....new movies are awsome to get it for, but if the movie isnt very action packed, I wouldnt worry about the blu-ray. Just save a few bucks and get the dvd version (unless the savings isnt justifiable). With the dvd up-scaling, dvds look awsome on hi-def tvs (I own a 40 inch, 120 hrtz, 1080p samsung). Also, older movies, unless they are really re-done, are not meant for blu-ray. I picked up a copy of "the arival" with charlie sheen a few weeks ago for 8 bucks on blu-ray, and some of the special effects look horrible when you see that much detail.
I am not sure what game I will even get next for it. To be honest, most games I get are used from gamestop or something like that. I have a hard time paying 60 bucks for a new game, especially if it does not have any online playability.

Yeah, I agree with being selective about movies to get in Blu ray. I love the Karate Kid, but I have it on DVD and am not going to shell out the money for a blu ray copy for what? Seeing Miyagi's gray heir in HD?
And games, too. $60 + tax is a lot. Not sure how many new games I'm going to get. Probably will get Arkham Asylum 2 new when it comes out. Can't get enough of this modern Batman thing happening. Like I mentioned earlier in this thread, the modern Batman almost justifies my childhood comic collecting.

Thanks.
It is amazing really. A year ago I was settling with debt collectors because I was unemployed for over a year...paying for lunch with pennies just to get a single sandwich from mcdonalds....
Now I am finishing up an internship, just ended a TA position, and getting ready to walk into a 48K yearly salary.
I guess it just goes to show if you put your mind to it and work for it you can dig out of any hole.

Yeah, it's all Hollywood'd up now. But it's actually better because there's no risk of falling out of the ring or getting a foot tripped by the bottom rope of a ring. And it adds some strategy since you're allowed to push off the cage and posts. We'll see how it goes...
